Scientific Study Links Heart Disease and Depression in Women

A 12-year Canadian study of 4,948 men and women over 40 has shown a distinct link between the incidence of heart disease in women with depression. The same strong link does not appear to exist in men with depression. While men did still have health risks due to depressions, sometimes including heart disease, the link was not as strong for men as it was for women.
