New Hope Outreach has received a $10,000 grant from the Share Some Foundation of Dale and Thomas Popcorn. We are so excited! Our director, Sharon Merhalski (pictured front and center holding the check — follow the link), was nominated for her tireless work for the past several years holding workshops and seminars for child abuse prevention, mentoring abuse survivors and charitable organization directors, and much more.
Among other things, this grant will help establish a new furniture bank for families in need in Northwest Indiana. First Baptist Church in Dyer, IN, has provided us with free storage space and this vision will become a reality in the immediate future.
